For the convenience of passengers, shuttle bus service is being launched outside Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka this time. This service will start from the front of the terminal building of the airport and will continue till Uttara and again in front of the terminal. Three to four shuttle buses will provide this service 24 hours a day. According to the chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
It has been observed that no private car or autorickshaw wants to go as the distance from the airport terminal to the railway station or bus stand is less. As a result, passengers have to cross the road in front of the airport with their luggage on their head at great risk. Which causes extreme suffering to the passengers. As a result, passengers are forced to go to the terminal with a hefty fare. Many also complained of missing flights due to standing on the road for a long time.
According to sources, Bebichak will launch the project in collaboration with the Ministry of Expatriate Welfare and Employment. This project has been undertaken mainly to reduce the suffering of the expatriates coming and going from different parts of the country. The airport authorities have decided to launch this shuttle bus service for the sake of passengers and their relatives at nominal fares.
