Again the plane malfunctioned in mid-air

An Air Arabia plane suffered a hydraulic failure in mid-air. The incident took place on a flight from Sharjah to Kochi on Friday evening. Due to this, the plane was forced to make an emergency landing at Cochin International Airport with 222 passengers and 7 crew members.

It is learned that the flight was supposed to land at 7:13 pm. But a full emergency was declared at the Kochi airport at 6.41 pm after a hydraulic malfunction was reported. After about 50 minutes of panic, Air Arabia G9-426 landed safely on runway 9 of Cochin International Airport at 7:29 pm. The passengers of this flight would have faced a major accident if they failed to land successfully.

A full emergency was declared at Kochi airport at 18:41 hours, said an airport spokesperson. All passengers are safe. According to the sources of the airport authority, the emergency was withdrawn after about 1 hour and 50 minutes of declaration at the airport. After landing, the aircraft was towed from the runway to the parking area at around 8:15 am.

The front wheel is lifted off the ground and dragged. Full state of emergency was lifted at 8:22. During that long period, all activities at the airport were suspended. After the emergency was lifted, the runways were quickly cleared and the normal operations of the airport resumed.

But once again it was proved that the security system worked effectively. We were able to resume operations in just 45 minutes.
